This unit is designed to help you to develop your skills through being part of a team planning and taking part in an enterprise activity.
It is about achieving a successful event and about your personal development as you take part in it.
You will set personal goals for developing your skills and look back on what you have learned and relate this to your future plans.
The skills involved are:
- planning
- organising
- investigating
- working with others
And you’ll learn more about yourself (become more self aware) and your strengths and weaknesses as you go along.
Your tutor will support and guide you all the way. So that you get the most from taking part in an enterprise activity it should:

For this outcome you will first identify your owns skills, interests and personal qualities so that you can make the most of taking part in an enterprise activity that matches them:
- Gather the information you need to prepare for choosing a suitable enterprise activity
- Plan and organise the enterprise activity once you have made your decision
- Keep records of your plans, how you carry them out and how you cope with changing them when circumstances change
