Skills Express Student Zone is designed to:

By working through the exercises and activities in Student Zone you will learn what preparing for life and work really means:

• deciding the direction you want to go in, and
• developing the confidence and ambition to go for it.

NPA Enterprise and Employability
If your tutor/teacher has registered you for the NPA in Enterprise and Employability you will be learning by doing.
So when you take part in a project, or go on a work experience placement, for example, the skills you learn and the knowledge you gain all count as part of the qualification you get.
The NPA is made up of units of learning:
- Each unit has a number of learning outcomes (things you are expected to know, understand or be able to do).
- And for each unit you have to give evidence (show what you have learned or achieved) by completing assessments which your tutor approves.
Skills Express can support your learning for some of the Units of the NPA in Employability and Enterprise. And in the 3D environment you can get off to a flying start and :
- have fun exploring employability and enterprise
- pick up hints and tips to help you develop your enterprise and employability skills
Your tutor/teacher will support and guide you all the way when you are doing the NPA.
Skills Express Blog
To show how you are getting on with the NPA in Employability and Enterprise you must keep a record of your progress (build up a folio of evidence). This contains information about what you have done to achieve the learning outcomes for each of the units.
In Skills Express this record will be in the form of your own personal blog, which your tutor/teacher can also access to confirm that you're working along the right lines, make comments and give you advice. And you can post evidence in different formats in your blog.
